The Super Bowl is finally here, and once again the New England Patriots are headlining. But headlining most Super Bowl parties? The food of course! IN an effort to make your Super Bowl meal planning easier, here are some of my very favorite recipes for everyone’s very favorite Sunday! Southwest Pizza – TexMex seems to have a solid hold on game day snacks. This easy recipe is fun because you can make individual portions, and the flavors are louder than Lady Gaga’s (maybe) Half Time Show!
Boiled Peanuts – The Atlanta Falcons came out strong this season, and no one can argue that they definitely earned their seat in the big game. Celebrate the Falcons southern roots with this easy, unique, and delicious southern snack.
Jalapeno Poppers – These poppers are so addictive, you may even miss a commercial in order to go back and get more! Don’t tell anyone, but this version is actually dairy free, gluten-free and Whole 30 and Paleo compliant. But seriously, no one will even know! Meatballs – Having a Super Bowl Party without meatballs is like having a Super Bowl without the New England Patriots, it could happen, but it probably won’t. This recipe is not only the #1 recipe on this blog, it is also basically fool-proof. You’re welcome. Beer Bacon Chocolate Chili – There are four basic food groups that must be present at every Super Bowl Party. Beer, Bacon, Chocolate and Chili. Throw them all in a pot, and you could please almost every person in NRG Stadium…with the exception of that one guy who doesn’t like bacon. Who are you guy? Smoky Ropa Vieja Tostadas – This recipe is like everything that is good about the Super Bowl rolled into one delicious meal. It draws from a couple different cultures, it makes a lot of noise, and you feel like a winner when it is done!
So friends, what will you be making this Super Bowl Sunday?
