#39 – Run 10 miles in one session

This is going to be one of my bigger challenges. I go in and out of great fitness habits. For 4 months I will go full force, waking up at 5am for the gym and doing a second workout when I get home. Than something will interfere, and I won’t do anything for 2 more months. That has got to stop. I need to get into a routine that is do-able for the long term. Having a goal is the best way for me to stay motivated.

As of right now, I can run about 2.5 miles. I am slow. I run ugly. But I can get 2.5 miles under my belt. Luckily, my good friend, the author of www.goodcookdoris.com, has given me a boost on working on #39. I am officially registered to run 5 miles in just under 2 weeks. You see, Doris wins everything. I mean, a minimum of 3 contests per week. It is ridiculous! This week she won 2 entries in to the Race to Remember. How can I say no to a free entry. So, my friends, it looks like in 2 weeks I will be half way to completing task #39. I will keep you posted!
