Super Bowl Slow Cooker Pulled BBQ

Serves: 12 servings
- 4 Tbsp BBQ Rub seasoning (recipe above this one)
- 3 lbs Australian Grassfed Flap Steak, pork or your favorite roasting meat
- 8 oz Pepsi (or coke, or whatever)
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 1 Dried Chipotle Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
- Pat the BBQ Rub seasoning into your meat, coating the entire cut of meat
- Let the meat sit for any length of time up to 24 hours (optional)
- Place the meat in your slow cooker
- Place the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker with the meat
- Cook on high for 4 hours
- Remove the meat (keep the juice in the slow cooker), and shred the meat using 2 forks
- Place the shredded meat back in the slow cooker with the juice
- Cook over low (or warm if your slow cooker runs hot) for an hour so the juice absorbs into the shredded meat
- Serve in what ever fashion you would like, and enjoy the big game!
